In accordance with the meaning and spirit of Eid al-Adha, we donated meat to various organizations and communities during the Eid al-Adha 2020.

We paid a visit to Catholic Charities of Nevada and shared meat, goodwill and love. We would like to extend our thanks to LVMPD as Captain Patrick Spencer and Deputy Chief Jim Seebock gave a helping hand in this charity event. We also thank to Imam Mujahid Ramadan, Sara Meyer, donors and our volunteers.

Acting true to the meaning and spirit of Eid al-Adha, we donated meat to various organizations and communities during the Eid al-Adha 2020. Our first stop was Masjid As-Sabur. We would like to thank Imam Fateen Seifullah, Imam Mujahid Ramadan, donors and our volunteers.

Silver Sage Foundation was invited to the LVMPD briefing on May 31, 2020 as one of the several community leaders of Las Vegas. Our executive director Asim Budak represented our foundation in this important public declaration. We wholeheartedly agree with the idea that the protests should be made in peace. We pray that the latest developments will result in improvements in all areas of our social, legal and political structures.

We were invited to an Iftar Dinner held at LVMPD’s Summerlin Area Command Center on May 20, 2020. Many Muslim community leaders from Las Vegas were invited to this gathering. It was a great platform to enhance interfaith understanding and connections. We would like to thank Captain Sasha Larkin and her stuff. We also thank to the meal sponsors.

This might be one of the most meaningful International Nurses Day as we are passing through a pandemic. On May 12 2020, Silver Sage Foundation distributed food at Sunrise Hospital to support the staff there both emotionally and physically. We sincerely thank nurses, doctors and all health personnel. We also would like to thank the volunteers participated in this initiative and Istanbul Mediterranean restaurant.

As COVID-19 spreads through our nation and our community, we are all feeling anxious, uncertain and perhaps alone. Please join our Religious Leaders as we come together in prayer.

We celebrated the Women’s Day at our location with food, activities, folkloric dance show and speeches. We would like to thank everyone participated in the event. And we would like to celebrate every women’s valuable presence in our lives.

We volunteered at Three Squares’ Sort-a-thon event to help the people in need and elevate the social standards in Las Vegas.

We took part at the first meeting of the Nevadans for the Common Good in 2020. The meeting was held on 9th of January.

137 community leaders participated at the event.

Professor Zeki Saritoprak from John Carroll University gave a talk on Mary’s significance in Islam. Epiphany Episcopal Church hosted the event presided by The Reverend Rick O’Brien. The meeting was thought provoking and quite interactive with comments and questions from the audience.
