In accordance with the meaning and spirit of Eid al-Adha, we donated meat to various organizations and communities during the Eid al-Adha 2020.

As our final event for the Eid, we participated at Pop-up Project Homeless Connect event held on 4th of August by distributing meals. We would like to thank to Nevada Homeless Alliance for organizing this event and also for giving us an opportunity to spread goodwill and love. Special thanks to our donors and volunteers on-site.

In accordance with the meaning and spirit of Eid al-Adha, we donated meat to various organizations and communities during the Eid al-Adha 2020.

On the 4th day of the Eid, we visited Helping Hands of Vegas Valley. We donated 220 pounds of meat to support the seniors of our community. We would like to thank to the executive director of Helping Hands, Marcia Blake for their co-operation. Also special thanks to Beril Berk, US Halal Meat, donors and our volunteers.

After the event, we received a very special letter from Helping Hands of Las Vegas Valley’s Director of Senior Necessities Program, Diana Barrett.

We applaud Helping Hands of Las Vegas Valley’s efforts on supporting the elderly population of Las Vegas.

Also special thanks to Beril Berk and our donors for giving a hand in this honorable effort of spreading goodwill and love.

On the 2nd day of the Eid, we paid a visit to Masjid Ibrahim. There, we shared some meat and lots of love with the local community. We would like to thank to Imam Shamsuddin Waheed, donors and our volunteers.

We celebrate Eid al-Adha as a feast of sharing, self-sacrifice and compassion. People come together to rekindle friendships and help to those in need.

In 2020, Silver Sage Foundation organized a series of events to keep the spirit of Eid alive in spite of the pandemic. We adapted and organized our events in total respect to the social distancing rules.
