In a heartwarming display of cultural unity and tradition, the Central Asian community recently gathered at the Silversage Foundation cultural center to celebrate an iftar party during the holy month of Ramadan. The event, which brought together individuals from various Central Asian countries, served as a beautiful reminder of the region’s rich history and the shared values that unite its diverse cultures.

Around the fountain is an informative intelectual program hosted by Intercultural Dialogue Las Vegas-which happpens around the Fountain magazine articles. Fountain Magazine publishes bimonthly and distributed throughout the world, The Fountain covers themes on life, belief, knowledge, and universe. On January 24, Silver Sage Foundation – Las Vegas hosted the First Around the Fountain Program- an enlightening talk on oral health and preventative care featuring Dr. Tyler M. Christensen. He shared insights from his expert review of the article “The Teeth: Wisdom with a Crown” published in Fountain Magazine.

During the event, Dr. Christensen captivated the audience with an engaging discussion on the basic structure of teeth and provided practical tips for maintaining a healthy smile. His knowledge and expertise inspired attendees to take better care of their oral health.

For our January session, the Cooking Club was led by Chef Ms. Mine and her mother, who introduced participants to two delicious and culturally significant dishes from Turkish cuisine:
• Kalburabasti – A traditional Turkish dessert with a rich, syrupy sweetness and a delicate, textured crust.

• Eggplant Salad – A flavorful and refreshing dish showcasing the unique taste of eggplant, a staple ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine.
