Ramadan Iftar Dinner Programs at Silver Sage Foudation (SSF) – Month of Ramadan
Ramadan is a month of great significance for Muslims around the world, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. It is a time for us to strengthen our faith, deepen our connections with family and community, and extend our love and compassion to those in need.
During the month of Ramadan, we hosted various Iftar Dinner events.
Friday, March 24 – SSF Kids Academy Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for Kids Academy students
Saturday, March 25 – Episcopal Church Iftar, Las Vegas: Hosting our friends at Epiphany Episcopal Church
Sunday, March 26 – Highschool Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for high school students
Monday, March 27 – SSF Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for community members
Friday, March 31 – SSF Intrafaith Muslim Women’s Iftar (Potluck), Las Vegas: Muslim Women were hosted
Friday, April 7 – SSF Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for community members
Saturday, April 8 – MSA Iftar, Las Vegas: Iftar for YM-sisters, YM-Brothers, and UNLV MSA students
Sunday, April 9 – Interfaith Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Interfaith Community Members were hosted
Wednesday, April 12 – CC Iftar, Las Vegas: Iftar dinner provided to 25 CC members
Friday, April 14 – SSF Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for community members, hosted and organized by Youth Sisters
Saturday, April 15 – Annual Intrafaith Muslim Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Intrafaith community members were hosted by SSF
Sunday, April 16 – Annual Interfaith Council Iftar, Las Vegas: Interfaith Council Members
Monday, April 17 – Annual Power of Night Iftar, Las Vegas: Organized by SSF and Police Department
Wednesday, April 19 – SSF Community Iftar, Las Vegas: Only for community members

Scriptural Reasoning Meeting – Friday, November 4, 2022
The Silver Sage Foundation is inviting individuals from different religious backgrounds to host interfaith scriptural reasoning round table discussions where explanations regarding holy texts based on various topics will be offered to help expand one’s knowledge of other religions and beliefs.
This is an opportunity to understand one another on a deeper level. The first Scriptural Reasoning Meeting is on Friday, November 4. Discussion topic of the first meeting is PEACE.
